Collectivism defined

Collectivism can be defined as a method of prioritizing a group and energizing the individuals in the group. It is the principle that stresses the tight attachment between the members of the group makes the reflection of the group itself.

It is the basis of individualism which focuses on the rights of individuals. When we talk about collectivism, the individuals of the society try to attain a common goal or objective for a common benefit.
